Recently I have been getting a lot of requests from fans and supporters that haven’t been able to come to the live shows, about being able to buy the album and t-shirts. This store is to give you the chance to purchase the things I sell only at my shows with some added special features. Recientemente he recibido algunos pedidos de gente que no han podido asistir a los conciertos de como podrian ellos compara el disco y la camisa que solo vendemos en las tocades en vivo. First off I just want to thank everyone of you who has purchased the album “Entre La Ciudad y El Mar” this past week. We turned a lot of heads and made a big splash with the album debuting and #2 and getting to the #1 spot on the the iTunes Latin Pop charts. Thanks also for all the kind messages and posts to facebook and twitter. You guys are amazing.
I also wanted to take the time to tell you about our plans for SXSW 2011.
We will be playing 4 shows total in Austin and if you or anyone you know lives in or around the city of music send them our way. Also we will be supporting our good friend Ximena Sariñana as she will be in Austin playing all the old classics and new songs from her upcoming new album. Finally to the wait is over! The album Entre La Ciudad y El Mar is coming out March 8! Its been a long year since we first finished the album and now that its finally coming out I cant hardly believe it.
To celebrate we will be holding a release party at the House of Blues on Sunset also on March 8 that is going to a whole lot of fun. If you cant join us in LA you could join us spiritually and have a small CD listening party with friends, pets, zombie lovers or imaginary vampires and a great sound system.
I feel strongly that this album should be listened to as one piece of work. Each song leads into the next and although they each have there own body and sound there spirit is the same which is something rare in today’s landscape of singles sensations. In the end though the music will speak for itself and all I can ask is that people listen with an open heart.
